Type face research

The list of typefaces for the poster spans centuries, and after having a look at them more in depth theres a few that i will definetly look to work with in the future (Clarendon -love those slabs, Didot- so classical) but my mind was already made up about helvetica. I started to have a look at the swiss style movement of the the 50s and 60s, i already knew about some designers of the era such as muller-brockman and wim crouwel so i had a look at there work in more depth, Wim Crouwels typographic posters using almost exclusively helvetica for the stedelijk museum, were particularly interesting and illustrative of the Swiss typographic style (left).
