From previous research into swiss modernism I came across the Bauhaus, which the the root of all modern design. It has always interested me and also seemed like an interesting idea as it is the coming together of multiple disciplines of design and is the coming together of one idea. I thought this was a great metaphor for RE: magazine as it is a magazine aimed at multiple disciplines of design coming together in one magazine.
This was my starting point for my magazine, looking at creating the logo/masthead out of simple geometric shapes.
